WaveWare Discover & Reset Tool

See and connect to all WaveWare devices on your network

• Allows you to see all compatible WaveWare devices connected to your network via Ethernet.

• Double-clicking an entry will open the device configuration page in your default web browser.

• Compatible with Windows 95, 98, 98se, Me, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.

Using the WaveWare Discover and Reset Tool

Note: WaveWare Discover and Reset Tool is an executable file, not an installer. The program may be run from your default Downloads directory, or may be moved to a folder.

Note: Your PC must be connected to the same local area network as the WaveWare devices you wish to connect to.

Clicking the Magnifying Glass icon on the toolbar will search for WaveWare products on your local area network. Found devices will be listed in the space below. Non-WaveWare devices will not be detected or shown.

Found devices will listed, along with their host names, IP addresses, and specific models.

Clicking on the IP address of a specific device will open your default web browser and display the devices’ configuration screen.

All WaveWare devices equipped with an Ethernet connection are shipped with DHCP enabled, unless otherwise notated on your purchase order.

WaveWare Discover and Reset Tool is also bundled with the SPS Series Encoder Programming Software, and can be launched by clicking the “Discover” button in the top right of the toolbar.
